In 2010, we launched our dedicated recycling service to help businesses achieve genuine green credentials while reaping the practical benefits of environmental responsibility. We designed this service specifically to be a seamless, high-value asset to your day-to-day operations.
The Problem: The Environmental Cost of Estate Agent Boards
Most estate and letting agent boards are made from Correx, a thermoplastic polypropylene polymer. Because Correx is notoriously difficult to recycle locally—with very few specialist facilities available—damaged boards historically end up in landfill through standard commercial or domestic waste streams.
Given that polypropylene can take up to 500 years to degrade, the property industry has a collective responsibility to manage the massive volume of boards that reach the end of their usable life.
