4.8 Estate agent boards are temporary fixings and should be checked on a regular basis by the home owners, tenants and you the agent. If any movement is seen, an order should be placed immediately to rectify the situation. When The Board Service installs a board, it will be in the most suitable position but if there are winds or vandalism, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused. Walls and fences will become weaker over a period of time as general weather conditions will cause the board to move. This is especially true in extreme weather conditions. The potential position for board erection should be considered by the agent before placing the order. If fixing to brickwork is the only viable option, the agent accepts the responsibility for any damage caused by fixing to brickwork by placing the order on the system and selecting 'Yes' in the drill permission field.

4.9 If a vendor is unhappy about the position a board has been erected in, an order should be immediately placed to move this board. If no order is placed, it is assumed that the board placement is deemed suitable by the vendor and therefore any future damage caused by external forces becomes the responsibility of the vendor.
